SACRAMENTO, Calif., Aug 06, 2015 (BUSINESS WIRE) — SolaTrim LLC, the Sacramento, CA based start-up vying for the top position in the Residential Solar Market as the preferred aesthetic skirting and pest abatement barrier, announced today that Mark Roe, former VP of Operations & Engineering for SolarCity Corporation, has joined SolaTrim as a Partner.
San Francisco resident Roe joined SolarCity in February 2011, leading the company’s entire business planning, operations, engineering, supply chain, and service functions. He was a major influence in taking SolarCity public in late 2012 and growing them into the dominant residential solar company in the country by 2014. Before joining SolarCity, Mr. Roe led Apple’s entire Worldwide Service organization at Apple for over five years.
Mr. Roe indicated he will commit significant time, energy, and funding to SolaTrim’s growth.
